Race for Life is the UK’s biggest fight against cancer and the largest women-only fundraising event in the UK. With over 230, 5K and 10K events across the UK, the Race for Life Charity is raising money to beat all 200 types of cancer, sooner.
Since Race for Life started in 1994, an incredible six million participants have raised over £493million, more than any other UK event series raising money to fund cancer research. The money raised through these events have been used to fund the work of over 4,000 researchers, doctors and nurses dedicated to helping people beat cancer.
Creative Director of Promoworx Kate Lewis and Graphic Designer Natasha MacKenzie are joining in the fight against cancer this Sunday July 14th at Hyde Park. Having both loved one’s and friends deeply affected by this horrible disease they have raised over £900 to aid in searching for a cure. The run starts at 11am sharp, so come by and cheer on our team as we race to the finish line! Bring banner’s, your supportive faces, or even just some water…we might have to slink across the finish line. We’d love to see you there.
