We are a rapidly expanding, creative design studio based in East London. We provide branding, print & digital design solutions to a wide range of local clients. From one-man-band start up businesses to medium sized established companies, we ensure our client’s image communicates their message clearly and efficiently.
We have an opportunity for a talented designer to join our growing team in a full time, in-house position. Successful applicants will be joining us at an exciting time of growth and will have the opportunity to take an active role in the enhancement and expansion of our design service offerings.
As a Graphic Designer in our creative team you will lead a varied range of creative projects ranging from logo design, business stationery, marketing material and promotional print. As we continue to develop our digital services this will also include aspects like digital design and social media.
You will be involved in projects from initial concepts all the way to full production, allowing you to get fully involved and push your creativity.
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic candidate who will work well within our small studio, taking charge when needed while overseeing the other graphic designer in the team. We need someone who will bring some inspiring ideas to the table, have a high level of organisational skills and flexibility in order to manage the multiple projects you will be working on.
The job is varied and your workload will be different everyday. You must have brilliant layout and typography skills. A basic knowledge of preparing files for print is essential, but advanced training will be provided.
The ideal designer will be a hardworking individual with a hands-on approach, a fantastic sense of humour, great customer service skills and an insatiable appetite to learn. But the most important part of the job application process is that you fit our creative team!
Qualities & Experience Required:
• Minimum 2 years experience
• A degree in Graphic Design or a related subject
• Advanced knowledge in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop
• High level of attention to detail
• Print production experience
• Time management skills
• Friendly & confident in talking to clients
• Excellent spoken & written English
• Familiarity with WordPress
• Social Media management
• Working knowledge of other Adobe Creative Suite software (Flash, Premier Pro etc.)
• Confident in attending networking events and representing the company
